The Sunil Nair Residence is a thoughtfully crafted interior that balances contemporary living with subtle cultural expression. Designed with a calm, neutral palette and warm wooden textures, the home reflects understated elegance while remaining deeply functional for everyday life.

The living area is conceived as a seamless composition of clean lines, layered planes, and crafted details. A bespoke TV unit integrates storage and display with linear wooden slats that add rhythm and visual depth to the space. The design avoids excess, allowing proportion, materiality, and light to take center stage.

A custom-designed wooden partition acts as both a spatial divider and a visual focal point. Inspired by traditional Indian jaali patterns and reinterpreted in a modern vocabulary, it subtly separates the living and dining zones while maintaining openness and connectivity. Carefully placed geometric elements and perforated panels create a play of light and shadow, enriching the spatial experience.

Warm wood finishes are balanced with soft neutral surfaces, enhancing brightness and spatial continuity. Accent décor elements—such as the traditional brass lamp—anchor the interiors in cultural familiarity, lending character without overwhelming the modern aesthetic.
