Description:

This architectural project by Sailesh Nair and Associate reflects a strong focus on climatic responsiveness, functionality, and contextual design. The building façade is characterized by its distinctive use of sloping tiled roofs and deep overhangs, which not only enhance the aesthetic appeal but also provide effective protection against heat and rain. The innovative brick jaali screens on the upper levels serve as a natural ventilation system, allowing air circulation while reducing direct solar gain, thereby keeping the interiors cool and comfortable. The structure’s robust geometry, clean lines, and earthy material palette create a harmonious balance between traditional architectural elements and modern functionality. Designed with sustainability in mind, the project showcases how thoughtful architectural solutions can seamlessly blend durability, climate sensitivity, and visual character to create a building that is both efficient and timeless.
